in which very little happens
Actually went to church today. The bus was free and I was promised food, so…yeah. I’m a bad person, I know. :p It was in a very modern church building, so really no different from what I’d get at home; I’m curious to try a service in one of the really old churches here, although as I’ve been told they’re mostly boring and full of old people, I might stand out a bit. I just wanna hear an organ, seriously, and see what a church service in a cathedral is like. (Yes, I know that not all the old churches here are actually cathedrals. Whatever.)
Also realized on the bus over that while I think I’m starting to get a feel for where things are around Norwich, I’m…really not. At least not in the sense that I know where anything is beyond, basically, the middle of the city centre where the Castle is. I still can’t get properly oriented around it, even–I’m only beginning to get a sense of things. The bus ride today just demonstrated how much of the city I haven’t seen, and the church was even within view of the Castle.
Eh, I have got two more months. …In which I really wanted to do some traveling, crap.
