in which I babble about concerts
Well. Today I spent £90 on a ticket that will get me to Coldplay’s concert venue in Birmingham, in the door for the concert (dunno about what kind of seat, though), and back to Norwich. I’ll be missing part of one class for this and probably the lecture the next day, but you know what, it’s for a good cause. (I also no longer have any guilt whatsoever about any of their stuff I may or may not have got free. Which wouldn’t have been much anyway, seeing as I did buy three of their albums from a store.) Tomorrow I’m probably going to buy cheap train tickets to London (like…$15 roundtrip) so I can go see Guillemots live (removing yet more guilt). Also so I can finally do a little more sightseeing there and at least see stuff like Big Ben and the London Eye, I hope, although as I’ll be leaving right after class probably and getting back late, I don’t know how much I’ll have time for—and that’s sad, because there’s a Doctor Who exhibition in London. I…might just have to make yet another trip there. Although this probably should do me when it comes to concerts, even though there are other places I still want to visit.
It would also be good if I stopped spending money, because I’m about to buy a couple t-shirts and I’ll still need train fare to the London Stansted airport for my France and Poland trips and also hostel stays while I’m there, and more food at some point here since I’m so very lazy about cooking despite now having things with which to cook, and some more souvenirs, and…things. And I’m not earning money. Ulp.
